mack (full name mackenzie) is a savannah-dwelling associate creative director with a background in copywriting and journalism. she studied fashion business and journalism at columbia college chicago, cutting her teeth at havas and ddb while also freelancing for publications like unemployed magazine, glamour girl, racked chicago, and more.

when she’s not writing, she’s playing with her dogs, reading, or selling vintage garb through her etsy store called a collection of things.

👋 Hi, I’m Mack. It’s short for Mackenzie. I’m a Creative Director, Copywriter living in the low country. I am currently freelancing full-time and writing a book on creativity & sobriety.

When I’m not circling back on decks, putting pins in meetings, or, well, writing … I’m playing with my dogs, ice skating, reading at the beach, and scouring the internet for Christopher John Rogers and Phoebe Philo’s Céline pieces to add to my ever-growing fashion collection.

I let curiosity drive my work, and I’m down to clown on anything from coffee table books to commercial scripts, magazine editorials to brand overhauls, earned activations to performance media.
